Predestined

Keeping with the Existence Series from my previous post, this review is for the second book, Predestined.

I said in my very first post that I was going to be real honest about my reviews. So, here goes. This book is weird. I'm not going to give away any spoilers, but as if Pagan dating Death wasn't enough, now we have voo doo all mixed in. By Voo Doo, I mean a witch doctor, a Voo Doo King and his son, a Voo Doo Prince.

Still with me? The book is worth the read, for sure. It just rolls out the story of Dank and Pagan and definitely sets up for the 3rd book. There's less Dank in this book, which stinks, but there are other characters who keep it interesting (signal voodoo people).

I have really high hopes for Ceaseless (releasing 9/18/12), so yes, you need to read this to get to that. No, its not torture. It really is a good book, just you know, voo doo'd.

Honorable Mention: Leif is a main character in the first 2 books and Abbi Glines released a book from his perspective. There will be another series coming out with Leif as the main character. This book, however, is not really a must read. Its really just a summary of the first two books from someone's else point of view. I wouldn't buy it, unless its .99 or you had a cool friend like me who would be willing to lend it to you. Here's the cover.
