I'll be the first to admit that I tend to follow trends with books. My latest trend with YA books all started with
50 Shades of Grey (NOT YA), but from that
Beautiful Disaster was recommended and from that the YA books rolled in. I don't love that I'm reading YA books, but I've found a few authors that I really like out of them and I'll continue to read their books. Through all the recommendations that creep onto my amazon account,
Pulled and Take this Regret by A.L. Jackson kept popping up, so I finally decided to buy them. I'm so glad I did. They are both now at the top of my favorite list.
Take this Regret was good,
Pulled was better.
My friend, Janell, pointed out that a lot of the books I've been reading and recommending have the good girl/bad boy storyline going on and she was totally right. Pulled is not one of those books. Its a story of love, loss, overcoming and forgiveness. Its the story of two people being forced apart by unfathomable circumstances, only to be pulled back together years later, but can they overcome the hurt of the past and deal with what they are faced with in the present?
This is one of those books that I missed when I was finished. Please read this. Seriously, you won't regret it.
Here's the amazon link and I want to note that Take this Regret is by the same author, but an entirely different story. I will write a post about that one soon.
